Fishy gone bye bye...

So tonight was a crazy night to say the least... starting with dance, a basketball game, wrestling pictures, a meeting for Regionals, and a Court of Honor. We raced home tired, hungry, and cold. We were way behind the 8 ball. Heath ordered Pizza, and was thankful for the pizza delivery dude! We grabbed some pizza, the kids grabbed homework, we turned on the Presidential debate and tried to multitask. I was testing Maizie on her spelling tests while trying to listen to the debate. When all of a sudden Kade announced "Hailey (our fish) is dead!" The night turned from Crazy to COMPLETE Mayhem! The tears began to flow.. and I suddenly knew we had to regroup, give hugs, wipe tears, brush teeth and go to bed! Maizie is so tender...it's so hard for her to accept that her fish is gone. I got everyone tucked in and Maizie and I tried to go over the spelling words but Maizie couldn't stop crying and every other minute she had a question or comment to make about Hailey. The thought came to me.. Who Cares about the spelling test...? I climbed in bed with Maizie and we talked as I tickled her back until she finally... fell asleep.
The house is now Quite.. the kids are asleep... I'm in bed with Heath and

Our Crazy Drive Home...

Friday the kids had "NO" school so Heath took the day off and we went to

the Museum of Science and Industry. It was Super Fun. We even ran into our friends.

The kids all got to participate in some taste testing.

The Museum closed at 4:00...

As we left the parking garage we quickly saw a Major Snow Storm was Brewing!

We knew our journey home was going to be slow... just didn't know How SLOW!

I was amazed that people were lining up to cash checks even with this huge storm... The store was PACKED with the line going out the door.

Our Normal 45 min drive home turned into a WHOPPING 5 HOURS

The Freeways were Slammed... Several times we were completely stopped for 20 minutes at a time. Heath had enough of that and began taking the side roads which moved a lil quicker..

I learned a good lesson.. I need to be more prepared with treats and water in my car..

You get hungry after being in the car for 5 hrs. It was Rough! Thank Heavens my car was full of gas and we had the few treats I had brought.

We watched several people run out of gas along the journey.

I was a wreck the whole 5 hrs.. Good thing Heath was driving!

We Listened to the radio.. talk radio.. our cd's.. we sang Primary songs.. told Jokes.. played the quiet game.. Anything to help buy some time.

Oh were we Ever Happy to be HOME... It's Never Look so Good!

Christmas...

Christmas Morning was very Exciting.. the kids woke up EARLY and Heath sent them back to bed for a while. Finally we got up to see if Santa had come.. sure enough he had...

After all the gifts were open we had one Final Surprise... we were heading to FLORIDA!

First we headed to church where Heath, McKinnley and Madison sang in the Choir at church.

It was Wonderful

After church we ran home packed our bags threw them in the car and headed to North Carolina.

We spent a few days and then packed the car back up and headed to Florida!

Back to our "Old Stomping Grounds" Lucky us we visited with our Best Friends!

Oh did it feel Good to be back..

This afternoon we got ready and went to Catholic mass with some friends...
and then to their house for a yummy Dinner.

Before we left they gave each child a gift... Crazy!

Mckinnley and Madison got earrings...

Kade got his Favorite Book...

Millie got these darling animal hand puppets...

They were all Thrilled!

Then we ran home.. opened up our new PJ's and exchanged our Family gifts...

The kids have been doing extra jobs all month to earn money for our gift exchange.

Then we broke into teams and went shopping. It was so FUN to watch how fun everyone had buying gifts for each other and how excited they were to give them.

Then we ran outside threw out the Reindeer food...

Those lucky Reindeer!

Now everyone is tucked in bed and we hope Santa is on the way!!

" FEED THE HUNGRY"

2011 Service Project!

We made it a family Affair...

We made several pans of Lasagna for a Homeless shelter and then went and delivered it.

When we went to deliver the food at the Shelter the people were sitting up to the tables ready to eat.

One young boy caught my eye... My heart sunk, he was only about 15 and alone. He looked at me and said, "Thank You and Merry Christmas!" That night as we ate our own Lasagna I couldn't

help but think of that young boy and where was his family?

That night I woke up sick... as I was in bed I kept thinking how blessed we are to have each other to take care of each other when we are sick, hurt, sad.

A warm house, comfortable bed, a hot bath at night, medication, food in our cuboards.

How incredibly Blessed we are!

The second half of our Service Project was

"Feed My Starving Children"

We pulled the kids out of school and we set out on our Adventure!

We prepared and packed food. It was AWESOME!

While we worked they played Loud Christmas music and we all laughed, talked

and tried to pack as fast as we could.

Every time we finished packing a box of food we would all bang on the table and cheer!

The kids Loved it!

When our time was up we went into the warehouse and they blessed all the food we packed.

Look at all those boxes of food getting sent around the world.

At the end we were able to see how many boxes that were packed during our session.

Boxes packed 122

Meals made...26,352

Children fed for a year... 72

Projects, Parties and Snow

Maizie had a project for school. She had to give a report on one of our Family Christmas Traditions.

Maizie decided she wanted to tell the class about our Reindeer feeding and teach the class how to make Reindeer Food. She made it in front of the class, then gave them a bag of it to take home.

She also made peppermint hot chocolate.

She was super Cute and proud of her Project. Maizie is really into BLING right now and Blinged out Everything her poster, Her poem about Reindeer food, I loved it!

I was Lucky enough to go Help with Kade's Class Christmas Party. It was so Fun to watch Kade socialize.

I couldn't help but Think I am so LUCKY he is MINE!

He got a pretty special Christmas gift from a Girl too.. A nice Football and through out the whole party she tried to get Kade to play catch with her. My favorite part of all was that Kade came and stood by me the majority of the time. Making sure I was ok. What a Sweet boy!

We got our First snow the other day.. Millie was so Excited she wanted to go play in it.

It was so Cold I watched from the window and then would run out snap a pic and run back in.

After a good hard attempt to make a Snow man.. Millie got creative and made a Snow Angel!

School is OUT and we are SOOO Excited!

Wrestling Season has begun...

The match began, Kade threw the kid into a Cradle and Pinned the him.

Only problem was the ref. was blowing the whistle for Kade to stop but he couldn't hear him so the coach had to go out and tap Kade to STOP!

Big Brother...

Yesterday Maizie came home from school and said, "Mom you wont believe what Kade did for me today."

Of course I said, "Tell Me!"

She began explaining, they were walking home from school with some kids from Kade's class and one of the boys kept swearing so Kade covered my ears and told the boy to Knock It Off, and Not swear in front of me. The boy did it again so Kade tackled the kid and held him to the ground and said,

"I told you not to swear in front of my little sister."

Then Maizie smiled real big and said, "I'm Lucky Kade is my Big Brother!"

I gave her a Hug and Agreed... Yes, you are Very Lucky Kade is your Big Brother!
I couldn't help but smile: I must tell Kade 100 times a day to quit tackling OR quit wrestling your sisters. Kade claims he is "Practicing for Football or Wrestling"
So today I was glad to see him put his talents to use to protect his little sister!

The day started off with a Serious Thompson Turkey Bowl!

Then we all cleaned up and began getting the house ready for our Feast!

It was so fun this year as the girls helped make name tags and these darling Owl Cup Cakes!

Millie Created this darling Thanksgiving Hat for Heath,

And he wore it with PRIDE!

We had our Friends the Fifields over to eat with us...

We have been Blessed.. Life is GOOD!

I am Thankful for Heath.. For the Good Man, Husband, Father and Friend he is. I am Thankful for the Calmness he bring into our Home. How he kindly reminds me, "It's all going to work out" when ever I get worked up and then he is always by my side helping me with what ever I need.

I'm Thankful for McKinnley for her Happy loud laugh. She often has to remind me to just have FUN! I love the way she always wants to add a twist to our meal, add a lil of this or make a little of that.

I'm Thankful for Madison and the way she cheerfully takes on any task placed before her. She is a trooper with her lil Sister and always willing to help brush teeth, find shoes, make a bed. What ever is asked.

I'm Thankful for Kade for the Good kid he is. I couldn't ask for a better Protector for his sisters. I love the way he is always learning and sharing all is knowledge with us.

I'm Thankful for Maizie and all her Spunk! She keeps our family on our toes. She is so full of Love and Happiness. When Ever I need a Hug I know Maizie is always willing to give me one!

I'm Thankful for Millie and her sweet personality. I am thankful I get her as my partner each day while the kids are at school. Millie is the first one to say Thank You and often says it 5 or 6 times.

I am Thankful for this Awesome family I have been BLESSED with!

A couple weekends ago Heath got the bikes all loaded up ready for a bike ride. Usually we go on a bike ride out in nature, but this time we headed down town Chicago and rode along the water.

It was full of people and excitement.

We couldn't help but stop and enjoy the water.

I had a hard time saying good bye.. I snapped pictures of them as they walked away..

Pretty sure I was the Embarrassing. Elizabeth couldnt believe I wasn't leaving.. Madison kept looking back waving and yelled," Love you Mom" (Awe melt my heart!)

The House was Lonely with out Madison around!

I was so glad to see her climb off the bus. She had lots of good stories... cute boys,

yummy food, zip lines and late nights.

A Week In Heaven!

It was that time of year again, where Heath and I are Lucky enough to go on vacation.

We went on a Cruise and visited Haiti, Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Cozumel,

Heath and his Favorite Pals.. Boys will be Boys!

The water was so CLEAR you could see the fish swimming around our feet.

Each night our group ate dinner at 6:00. As soon as we would finish our dinner we would put in our desert order and go up to the top of the boat and Enjoy the Sunset!

Heath and I have found we aren't the Party Animals we use to be... We loved going back to our room watch a movie or a football game order room service some where around Midnight and call it a night... You can tell from Heath's Yawn.. his bed was calling his Name!

We swam in the Ocean in The Cayman Islands then went to get some yummy Jerk Chicken and rice. While we ate we had the Biggest Thunderstorm we had ever seen. Our Cute taxi driver was worried about us and ran around the shops in the rain to find us and get us back to the boat so we would be safe.

As our Boat started to Leave the Jamaican People all came and waved flags and sang and danced as we left.

We went on a excursion to go feed and hold the Sting Rays. I was Not a fan! In fact I was scared to Death! Crazy how somethings can make me so scared. Heath was much more brave than I. I did hold it but my entire body was stiff and shaking. Thank Heavens I had Heath to protect me!

We rented Mopeds and drove around the island.

We stopped at this cute lil Shack that had tacos and snorkeling. Heath Took me way out into the ocean. I loved holding his hand and exploring. I just couldn't think too much as to how far out we were. It felt like I had to swim miles to finally reach shore.

We ate Tacos and a cold Coke.. It had never tasted so Good.

Heath Lined us up to get a Massage right on the beach. I laided down and the lady said lay on your stomack put your hands up.. so I reached my hands up and SWOOSH... she yanked OFF my swimsuit. I screamed Heath and I laughed and then we enjoyed a massage. bout 1/2 way through a storm blew through and it lighting and thundered and rained. It was so relaxing to hear the rain on the tent, and hear the waves roll in.

The Rock Wall and late night Miniature Golf.

The Company put up several diffrent Contests.. One being Dodge ball where Heath's team took First Place! Another was Ping Pong. You had to play with your spouce taking turns hitting the ball. Heath and I entered, I am not a ping pong kind of gal but we kept winning and winning.. and here we are in the "Final Match"

Very Offical. It was also High Stress with everyone standing around watching.

We had a Great Time... we also took 2nd Place and walked away with $150.00!

Not too Shabby!

Next Year we will be with Champions!

It was an AMAZING trip!

We had so Much Fun! Loved sleeping in, ordering room service, going to the shows at night, watching movies in our room, swimming in the ocean, getting in the hot tub, all the yummy meals.

It was great to know the kids had Grandma Clark Home with them, loving on them, feeding them, doing crafts, bike rides, homework, and taking Good Care of them! Thanks Mom!

Football is in FULL Swing... and We Love it!

Kade's Class have a on going Rule that each Student has to get there planner signed from the Teacher. We carried the rule on at home if Kade wants to play Football he has to have it signed with everything Complete.

As I was cleaning the house I noticed Kade's Math workbook was sitting on the counter. Which meant Kade wouldn't get his book signed off as everything completed and handed in.

The (Stupid) Rule at the school is if a Child has forgot Homework, a book, anything... Parents can not bring it into the school. What is up with that Rule? They are in Elementary for Heaven Sakes!

So I stewed over what I should do because Grandma is going to be here and I wanted Kade to be able to play. So I waited till lunch time and drove around the school waiting for Kade to come out for recess... I couldn't find him. So I walked it into the school to only get the Raunchy Office lady to tell me, Put the book on the shelf and I will call him down at the end of the day to come get it. That wasn't going to do Kade any good. So I put it on the shelf and walked out. Thinking my Plan was a FLOP...

Kade came home from School busted through the door wrapped his arms around me and said, "Mom Thanks for Bringing my Math Book. I went into the Bathroom and said a Prayer that you would bring it."

A kid in his class saw me walk into the book and told Kade so Kade asked the teacher if he could go get it..

AND... Kade gets to Play Saturday!

Prayers DO GET ANSWERED!

DOWNTOWN

This weekend Heath took us DOWNTOWN for a fun out door Craft Fair.

The Kids enjoyed looking at all the CrAzY people and Madison even took pic for a future post on her blog..

As the night rolled in we stopped at a Great lil' outdoor Restaurant and ate the Yummiest Fish and Pork Tacos a bucket of Chips and Guacamole all washed down with a Coke! It was Heavenly!

I loved sitting, eating and enjoy the City Life with my Favorite Peeps!

Our Trouble Maker...

McKinnley came home from school and I could tell something was wrong from the minute she walked in..

I was checking my email to my surprise I had a email from McKinnley's Teacher. The email began explaining that McKinnley got caught CHEATING. And that she had Lunch AND After School Detention Monday. I asked McKinnley about it and she was very concerned and began telling me how she lent a boy in her class her paper to get the Components of the Conclusion. And told the boy NOT to copy her work. He assured her he wouldn't. Come to Find out he Did copy her word for word and McKinnley was in Deep Trouble with the Teacher. McKinnley even went into the Teacher before class trying to explain what had happened but the Teacher wasn't about to have it.

After we had a long discussion and knowing the girl McKinnley is... We felt McKinnley was only trying to Help a Brother Out! Heath called the Teacher leaving her a Good Long Message. But McKinnley was still worried about everything and asked that I email her. So I did..

Needless to say we got things Cleared up with the Teacher..

It seems like just yesterday, I was in the hallway at Provo High and the Principle called me into his office. I was soo Afraid as soon as he turned the corner walking into the office I took off running.. and I ran all the way to my car and drove home. I'm Not sure what that was going to do for me, except get me in more trouble later.. I can laugh at it now, (Funny!) But it wasn't so funny then!
Thank Heavens My Mom and Dad took it easy on me..

It's Crazy to Think I am now the Mom..

I hate that McKinnley has had to sweat this all day today...

I feel bad for the lil kid in her class...
It's a Horrible feeling to be in trouble!

But I'm Glad it is behind us and it is FRIDAY!

After saying goodbye to our family we climbed in the car and ventured up to Monterrey.

We drove around Heath's old stomping grounds when he was in School learning Russian.

Kade had decided this is the car he wants when he turns 16.

Then we went to the "Fisherman's Wharf"

We Enjoyed the Famous Clam Chowder in the Sour Dough Bowls...= Heavenly!

Then we went to the beach.. It was so Beautiful!

McKinnley The Birthday Girl

It seems like just yesterday your Dad and I were having your 1st Birthday Party.

We had so much fun.. with cake for you to eat.. dancing You entertained us all.

You were such a beautiful little girl with big blue eyes!

McKinnley got a package in the mail from a old neighborhood friend that we lived by Washington 6 years ago. They hadn't stayed in touch, but some how she found Mckinnley and sent a package.

Inside was a frame with a picture of them and she wrote a note saying that she missed McKinnley and always admired Mckinnley because she "Always told the Truth"

I Love You McKinnley, may you Always tell the Truth, be a good friend, stay the sweet happy person you are and Love your Mom and Dad!

Back at it...

Heath made us a Yummy Tri Tip dinner and gave the kid and myself school blessings.

Then we all went outside and the kids played flash light games, trying to soak up our last night of Summer!

Then before we knew it.. the alarm was going off and it was time to get up.

Although it breaks my heart to know we have not one but two kids in Jr. High,
I'm so happy they are together!

It was so fun to watch these to tag team getting ready for school and climbing on the bus together!

And of course they took too long getting ready and they had to chase after the bus!

Poor Madison bag was bigger and heavier than her!

Then it was time to get the next group up and ready...

Kade is in 5th Grade

Maizie is in 2nd

Millie gets to stay home with Ms. Thompson as her teacher...

When I took the kids to school the 5 minute bell rang... We walked in the door to be greeted by a lady I started walking past the lady heading to there classrooms. She stopped me and told me I could not walk to the classrooms, I told her I needed to walk the kids to find the class she said, I'm sorry You can not walk the kids but I will walk them. Poor Maizie's eyes were as big as basketballs.. I bent down and kissed Maizie, and Kade could tell I was worried. He kept telling me, "Mom we will be fine don't worry." I watched them walk away I wanted to run after them and say, "I'm Kidding I want them back, I'm not ready to give them up yet!" But With Millie's hand in mine we watched them turn the corner then we headed for home. Once we got home we climbed back in bed and played games counting down till they all arrived home again!

Our first night of being all together again... we hit a Delicious BBQ joint..

We had swimming races.. the Heaps Competitive Advantage!

All races ended with Super Close Wins..

We went to Six Flags.. and oh did we have Fun!

Heath rented a 6 man bike and took us on an adventure.. He ran beside us as rode the bike along the beach.. It was super fun but much harder than we ever imagined!

It's such a treat to have old enough kids that can babysit so the adults can go out on dates..

We ate Yummy sea food and sushi beach side.

But our very favorite is just being together on the Beach!

Grandma bought kites for all the kids and helped them fly them.

Thompson Time

This year for the Thompson Family Reunion we went to Sedona Arizona.

It was so Beautiful!

Our first night walked around enjoying down town then ate Mexican food for Dinner.

Swimming was a highlight of the trip.. lots of fun football games, races, enjoying the hot tub and Most Important Millie Mastered the art of Swimming!

The kids had a blast being together.. Maizie and Millie have never had so much fun being Mom's to Lil Ethan, Gabe, Lani.
Heath and I got slurpies.. these little Monkeys spent a good hour taking a drink and
passing it down to the next person... Mmmm!

The Tuff Mudier is a TEN Mile Tuff Man Obstacle Course!

The Race was in Wisconsin.

We went up early and made a family vacation out of it.

We found a yummy Italian Restaurant the night before and we all enjoyed Pizza

while Heath ate his Pasta.. Fueling Up!

The Kids made shirts to wear the day of the race... This is McKinnleys.

Trent Trent and Heath Right before the race began... All Nice and Clean and Looking Tuff!

We watched the Men begin the race, then jumped on the ski lift so we could watch them

in a few of the obstacles.

This Obstacle was called the "Kiss of Mud"
They had to climb through mud and rocks with Barbwire just above there heads.

This was a Big Sprayer to wash off before they took off again...

The race was on a ski resort so they were running up and down the mountains... and it was so steep...

Rib Fest

We went to RIB FEST!

It had over 20 different Rib Vendors that came to Compete for the Best Ribs.

We had a Fabulous dinner!

I kept thinking My brother Bret needed to come compete next year.

Then we Finished the night off with Reo Speed Wagon and Phil Vaser concert.

We sang we danced the fireflies were flying... It was a perfect Summer Night!

We spent the first half of the days swimming and playing on the water slides...

Then then we spent the evening going on rides.

Some of the highlights were:

We had a fun day Celebrating Madison's Birthday and spent the night at a Swim Meet where Madison Swam like a Champ beating all her personal times and bringing home some 1st place Ribbons!

Fathers Day

Our Good friend Mike was in town and with him came his Camera.. (Lucky Us!)

Only Problem was McKinnley was at Youth Conference so we added her into the Family Photo Shot.

I have Certainly been Blessed with the Fathers in my Life. I thought 1000 times today all the things My Dad did for me, provided for me, helped me with, supported me, taught me. I Love You Dad!

I am Thankful for Mike, Thankful for his Happy Loving Heart!

And I am so Thankful for Heath and the Father he is to our Kids.

Today we went to Church and I LOVED watching the kids beam as they sang to Heath.

I LOVED our Yummy Steak Dinner, going around the table telling Heath what we Loved about him and all the cute unique things they each said.

I LOVED our nap.

I LOVED how Heath pumped the bike tires, put the bikes on the car and took us on a bike Ride.

I LOVED watching Heath and the kids ride up and down the Huge grassy hill on bikes.

I LOVED our Brownie, Chocolate Moose, Hot Fudge Delight!

I LOVED sitting around Heath as the kids gave Him his Simple but Heart felt Gifts they made or picked out.

Piano Recital

So the kids have been taking piano for a couple months now and we had our 1st Piano Recital.

It was fun just us and our good friends at our Piano Teachers house.

McKinnley and Elaine played together

All of the kids were Nervous to preform but it was very layed back and the treats after

were well worth the few minutes of being afraid!

My favorite part might have been when Elaine made them all Bow.

It's 4:00 in the morning Heath is out of town we have had a crazy storm all day and all the night. The Kids are all snuggled in my room Kade and Maizie are in bed with me which I knew would make for a not so great night sleep. But I figured it wont be long until they wont want to sleep in my room little lone my bed. We all went to young women's tonight. Kade joined the bigger boys in scouts. It was a physical fitness night so he was in Heaven. The rest of us joined the beehives "Get Ready for Summer" Nail Polish Bash where we painted nails, had a lesson on how we are all beautiful in Gods Eyes and ate treats talked and laughed. The girls nails are all looking Smashing! As I sat in Young Women's tonight it took all I could Not to cry. "Change" is in the future as our Young Women President is Moving. It always seems just as I get to know some one or love my calling I am Changed. I will miss our President and My Dear Friend who share my same name (Kelly Clark) If we get new callings I will miss all the other leaders I associate each week in young women, and the Amazing Girls I have grown to LOVE!

With Summer Coming comes more "Change" for which I am so Excited about! I am excited to have my kids to myself. I am excited to watch the kids each morning at swim practice, eat lunch with them, stay up late, and be together. But as Summer approaches... I know School quickly follows and so comes more "Change" Just thinking about it makes me sick. McKinnley will be in 8th Grade Madison 6th grade and Jr. high, Kade 5th grade Maizie 2nd. How does the time fly by so Quickly?

I was going through old Pictures, I saw this pic of Maizie, Millie and myself, I got tender. I miss this stage of my life. This Picture reminds me How Quickly Life can Change. I see Love in this Picture, and the girls needing me, and yet they are getting big and learning so quickly they don't need me like they use to.

I miss that!

I don't like "Change" I don't Like that my Face has Changed and

that I am sporting more wrinkles today..

I am Thankful to know some things will stay the same:

I will Always Love Heath,

Our Kids will always be our kids,

and no matter where we go or what we do,

This past weekend was Father and Son's
The boys went camping. Heath and Kade took bikes and went on some great trails,
roasted marshmellos, and watched a movie in the tent.

So while the boys were away, Us girls had to Play!

We started the night off with us Mom's and our daughters going out to Dinner.

Then us Thompson Girls went to target picked out some treats and nail polish. We painted nails,

ate treats, made hairbows and all snuggled in my room watching tv till way late.

Mothers Day started off with,

Maizie decorated this cute plate to look like me with Yogurt and Grape Kool-aid.
She told me she didn't add any Sugar cause she knew I wouldn't like sugar in my drink!

She wrote this cute Note:

Then Madison followed shortly after with toasted hamburger buns with peanut butter and jelly and one with nutella cause she knows how much I love Chocolate!

A bowl of grapes, grape juice and a grape on my cup to for decoration.

Millie woke up with a giant smile and a gift... wrapped with LOVE!

The Pic she colored was wrapped in tin foil then colorful toilet paper.

Madison brought up my sewing machine in her room and made me this cute present.

It serves 2 purposes:

It smells yummy for me to put in my drawers

But it also has rice in it so I can pop it in the microwave and use as a heating pad.

Kade made me these darling "Sleeping Glasses" to wear when I go to sleep.

I used them last night and I don't think I have ever slept so GOOD!

McKinnley spoke in Sacrament Meeting and did a Great Job.

She said some really sweet things and then wrote me a tender note.

I am so Lucky to be Mom to these Kiddos!

And Lucky that this dude is mine too!

After church Heath and I took a nap then woke up for a family bike ride. It was Awesome!

1/2 way through the ride we took a rest by the water and ate some Chocolate and talked and laughed.

It Doesn' t get any better than that!

"Teacher Appreciation" was this week and everyday Maizie would come home in a panic that she hadn't taken in a gift. I had gone to the store and bought the stuff but just hadn't put it all together.

So last night the creating began...

I bought scissors from the dollar store, cut and glued cute paper to the scissors then Mod Podge
on top to give a shine to the paper. Then added these cute notes:

Finally around 9:00 this morning, Heath and I had to go around and wake the kids up to see

if the Easter Bunny had come.. and sure enough he had delivered!

Kade snuck down stairs pulled out celery, left it on the floor and then slept in the cupboard
under the TV trying to catch the Easter Bunny in the act.

But the Bunny was so Good and delivered while Kade slept.

One of Heath's agents at work is a Reverend on the South side of downtown Chicago. He has invited us to his church so today we took him up on his offer. It was such an amazing day! We walked in and the minute we entered you could just feel the LOVE. It was full of Great Music, Dancing, and Hallelujahs! At the beginning of the sermon they asked for all the guests to stand up. All 7 of us stood up and the entire congregation stood up as the music played and they came and greeted us with hugs, kisses and God Bless You's! That is the perfect way to make the guests feel "Welcome"

A week or so ago when Heath and I decided we were going to Reverend Al's Church I dreamed they called Heath out of the crowd to talk.... And SURE ENOUGH today they called Heath out of the crowd to talk. It was so FUN! Heath brought a lil' of his Black "Mojo" to his Sermon. He started off with saying, "Brothers and Sisters, It's been a long time since I have felt the spirit like I have felt it here today, and He brought the crowd to their feet with Amens and Hallelujahs! He then told a short version about his 2 younger brothers that were killed by a drunk driver and how he knows that some day he will be able to live with them again because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ which we are Celebrating this Easter day. We all got Tender, It was a day I will Never Forget! We all Loved church.. for many reasons. Millie loved it cause she and a cute lil girl next to her danced to all the Fun, Loud Music. Kade liked it cause Heath gave all the kids Money to drop in the basket for a offering. When we climbed into the car to leave Maizie said, "Dad, can we come back to this church next week?" What Awesome Experience!

After church we went to another one of our Friends and Heath's Agents house for dinner.

The kids had a Easter egg hunt, a jumpy toy, rode scooters, the food was Divine and we felt so loved to be invited to join them and their family!

Then tonight came home it was late, 1/2 of us changed out of our church clothes before I realised we didn't get a family Pic so we all huddled up on my bedroom floor set the camera timer and here we are.

I was feeling a lil homesick this morning... wanting to be with our family..

having the kids be with Grandparents and cousins...

But when it is all said and done.. (I still missed being with family)

But: I wouldn't have changed a thing about today!

It was Amazing! We are Blessed!

Sunday Morning we were Lucky enough to head down to Alpine to be with Heath's family for a yummy Breakfast and some hanging out time before Church began. We were able to see and meet some of the cousins we had never seen before. I was Lucky enough to hold baby Ethan through much of church. My plan of putting treats in my purse worked and I think we might be friends for a while.

Oh we already wish we could have had more time to talk and just be with you all more!

After church we went to Walsburg to be with my family.

I was greeted with this cute Tower of blocks with my name on it. I loved it!

Heath's favorite part was throwing rocks, running races, exploring the land and watching

discovery channel with these two boys.

Then of course the girls.. so sad my girls weren't with us and auntie Jamie to spice up the pic.

Daniels Summit

Heath won a Contest with work and so we flew into Utah and headed up to Daniel Summit for
a few days of Snowmobiling. It was so fun cause we were with some of our Favorite
People in the world. We would wake up eat breakfast, go play in the snow head back to lodge
eat lunch, hot tub, take a nap, eat dinner then play games around the fire place.

We each had our own snowmobiles and went off exploring all together.

Of course it wouldn't take long when we would stop for a rest that a men would start wrestling!

This was our last night after our massage.. we snuggled in on the couch, by the fire, ate yummy treats, played games and laughed! We sure had a good time! Hard to Say Goodbye to such a Fun Trip!

We went to Wisconsin to a HUGE indoor water park and condo.

The little boy in Heath came out.. He enjoyed blasting the kids with the water hose.

Thank Heavens the tooth fairy found us all those miles away from home!

Bowling was a highlight...

Millie wanted to do it all herself! (Although it took a while for the ball to reach the pins.)

We loved the little dance she would do as she waited for the ball to knock em over!

The Cheese sticks, fries and cokes were super yummy too!

We went to the show.. I couldn't help but feel a little bit sad at how BIG my family is..

My baby sits through a movie. Time is really flying by fast.

For Scouts they had a Father and Son Cake Decorating Contest. Kade knew just what he wanted to do for it. He baked the cake then began frosting the cake. Next he started cutting it to create a

"Jimmer Jersey"

It was looking Great, Until.....

It split down the middle!

The tears began to roll! We only had 45 mins till we had to leave. What to do... what to do? I grabbed my purse and Kade we ran to target. But, NO plain white cakes...

We found a cake that had blue with orange flowers on it so bought it ran home CAREFULLY pulled off the orange frosting and Kade began Decorating the cake.

Heath was Confident.. trying to convince Kade the cake was COOL... Kade Not so sure!

Kade walked out with the 1st Place Prize!
Perhaps it helped that BYU was playing that night or that our entire family got to vote for our favorite cake or that it was the COOLEST?

Either way, Kade was all SMILES!

Life is Not Always about Winning But it sure feels GOOD when you do!

1st Grade Sing-A-Long

It was the "1st Grade Sing" and Maizie was chosen to be the Main Character in the play with the BIG speaking part. We practiced all her lines each morning as we got her ready for school. We practiced her lines as we drove in the car, we practiced her lines as she laid in bed each night.

By the time the sing along came she was saying her parts with a lil' Attitude!

They looked so Beautiful and it made the night all the more FUN!

Maizie is right in the middle, with her arms tucked back, mouse mask on blue jeans.

After wards we went out to eat really late on a school night just to CELEBRATE! We almost had the restaurant to ourselves! The Food was Yummy, the Fire was Heavenly, And we were the proud family of the Cutest lil' Mouse!

Girls Trip 2011

The Girls Trip started off a lil Bumpy!! I was at the O'Hare Airport driving the loop on the phone with my lil sister.. We couldn't figure out WHY after the 10th time of me going around and around that we couldn't see each other..? Come to find out they flew into the Midway. Nervous Sick I began the journey to find the Midway Airport through the Crazy traffic. I was so Excited to see them I couldn't get my car into park fast enough and out to give them hugs!

We checked into our Hotel and went to eat Dinner.

Then we went back to our hotel and had a few Contests...

Weight lifting contest and bike races

We hit the Woodfeild mall, It was so fun how different we all are in our shopping. But we all walked out with something fun! (Thanks to Jamie and Kim for being Patient with me)

Mrs. Field's Cookies really helped the shopping experience!

We came home Saturday night to watch the BYU game and Jamie did everyone's Hair.

Then Aunt Jamie, Maizie and Millie jumped into swimsuits and filled my tub up and went swimming.

They had a hold your breath contest and told secrets!

The next morning Heath was speaking in Sacrament Meeting so we went to hear him. It was a awesome meeting! Heath worked his magic and did a Wonderful job! It was so fun for all of us to be in my bathroom getting getting ready. The girls loved having aunt Jamie do hair and Kim did a lil' make-up.

They were all looking beautiful and Kade looked so Handsome! (I have a few curlers still in my hair)

We ran to change our clothes, ate some lunch and off to hit the town.. so we thought!

Right in the middle of a HUGE down pour my windshield wiper Broke.

Jamie steered while I pushed the break and gas. Kim maneuvered the GPS from her phone and lead us to jiffy lube. We were One Mean team!

We were shocked when the Jiffy Lube garage door opened Matt Damon walked towards us!
At first he was not so willing to help but this other fella pulled out his tools and with in minutes we were back in action. We had to get a picture to document the big event.
Jamie slipped him some cash and we were off and running!

After checking into our hotel we hit the town... here we are at The Bean.

As a Surprise Heath got us tickets to a Show... It was fun to Experience a Chicago Show! It was Awesome!
Then off to eat a yummy Steak dinner. Lots of secrets, laughing and crying,

And some Key Lime Pie on the house!

We enjoyed our late night walk. It had just finished raining, the air was cool, the lights on the buildings were beautiful and we had this dude all to our selfs for some photos.

Our last night we talked and talked not wanting the night to come to a end!

But it came and we had to say our Goodbyes...

Sometimes I wonder why life has to be so Rough!

I have a Friend with 5 kids who husband just lost his job, A friend who little boy has several surgery's ahead of him, a friend who's Mom has cancer, A Friend who just had back surgery, A friend who boy is struggling with drugs, A friend who's 9 year old daughter needs open heart surgery here soon. McKinnley's and Madison's best friends are moving away this week. Being a mother of 5 I often feel overwhelmed, with church callings, being Mom, the house cleaner, to cook, the homeworker helper, wondering am I doing OK raising these kids...? Do I tell Heath I love him enough and Thank You enough for the wonderful life he provides for us? I wonder why we have to deal with such hard things.

I wish I could take away the fear, sadness and hurt.
My younger sister Jamie taught me;
"We Can Do Hard Things"...

Today as I cleaned my house I look to the good things in life, I am counting my blessings,
I am truly BLESSED!

Milllie wanted to blow bubbles and so we went outside on the back patio and she blew until her heart was content. I loved to watch her as she smiled, giggled, and how her hair blew in the wind.

It felt good to stop the cleaning, go out and just enjoy the warm windy

weather, and all of Millie's Cuteness.

I know my Heavenly Father loves Me.

Even though life is Hard, we do have a lot of things to be Thankful for!

Things to be Happy about!

Pop Cans

Kade has been collecting pop cans for several months for his Missionary Fund.

He was so Excited to take Grandma and Grandpa with him to turn in his cans.

He bagged his cans and filled the car up and we took them to the Recycle Center.

Kade was beaming with Excitement. He watched the scale as the cans stacked up.

His little brain was a turning as he added up how much the thought he had earned.

The Big Pay Out was Beautiful!

He walked away $50.00 dollars Richer.

We are so proud of you Kade, we know you will be a Awesome Missionary some day!

We better give a HUGE shout out to those that have Contributed cans to The Fund!

Grandma and Grandpa T.

While Heath and I were in Vegas Grandma and Grandpa T. came and stayed with the kids.

We had a great day in downtown Chicago. We showed them the Sears Tower (Tallest Building in Chicago) and some good old "Chicago Style" Pizza.

Some of the highlights were reading with Grandpa, ballet with Grandma, basketball, ping pong, nightly meetings, new posters, Grandma doing the girls hair, yummy food, watching American Idol,

having Grandma and Grandpa cheer in the

stands at the soccer games, and everything in between.

So this past week we went to Vegas for Heath's Work Convention.

Heath Spoke Several times and did Awesome!

The Troop Braved the Crowds to see Justin Bieber's Movie the night it came out.

New Beginnings...

New Beginnings was the night after I got back into town from Florida.

(Note to Self: NEVER have a big activity that I am in charge of the day after I get back into town.)

It was one of the Craziest days of my life. As Heath and I pulled into the church parking lot to set up for New Beginnings it hit us we don't have the keys to the church. They were on my key chain 45 mins away at the car shop. I was nervous Sick, Heath raced to the dealership we grabbed the key, raced back to the church threw up the decorations, set up chairs, prepared the slideshow and had to run back home change clothes and pick up my girls. I think the clock stood still for me cause I dont know how I accomlished it all and still made it to the church with 10 mins to spare to prepare the drinks and put out the freshements. Needless to say I was hot, sweaty and thrilled as the night ended so Heath and I could eat the 1st meal of the day. CRAZY! All in All the night went well. The girls sang and did wonderful, we had great speakers, the New Beehives Madison being one of them were so cute! I can't believe I will have 2 girls in Young Womens this summer. Oh the Fun we will have! The night ended on a high note with the slide show.

The girls loved it as they watched the fun we have had through out the year.

I Loved my SmashBurger, Fries and Coke and OF COURSE the 3 I ate it with!

It's hard to believe Maizie is already 7!

Today was a BIG day for Maizie. She knew just how she wanted the day to go.

She woke up and asked if I could bring McDonald's to school for her Lunch.

She was Thrilled as I delivered on her request!

She came out of school with her Birthday Hat on and a Smile the size of Texas

so Proud to be the Birthday Girl!

Instead of a Cake we had all kinds of yummies to dip into Chocolate.

Pretzels, different flavor marshmallow's, oreo's, strawberries and orange slices.

She gave us Thumbs Up!

Madison gave Maizie this soft cute bear. Maizie LOVED it!

Kade stayed home sick from school, while he was home he created this Awesome Scavenger Hunt.

We had so Much fun running up the stairs, down the stairs and all around the house. And as the Reward he gave her his Valentines Chocolate. I was shocked cause he loves his Chocolate! It was so fun to stand outside the room and listen to Kade, Maize and Millie laying on the floor talking, laughing and eating the chocolate treausure!

This Morning we took a pic of Maizie in her Birthday Outfit with a Lip Gloss, Perfume and a lil' Sparkles...

I love how such small things can be so EXCITING!

WE LOVE YOU MAIZIE!

We have many things we love about Maizie. Like the fact she has Never played soccer before and yet she is scores 4 or 5 times each game, or how she loves to sing and dance for us with Millie every time a commercial comes on, How she loves to read to us, How she writes and illustrate great stories, but what makes me the most Proud is how she knows how to LOVE. I got a email from a Mom at school who son is Handicap. She went into great detail Thanking me for all the LOVE Maizie shows to her little boy. After school I asked Maizie who she choose to be her Birthday Helper and she said, "Mom (gave me that look and then said) "Of course Mason! But it was Hard cause all my friends wanted me to pick them but I choose Mason." I am so Proud of you Maizie for the Good girl you are!

Millie and I were Lucky enough to go to the school and help with Valentine Parties..

In Maizie's class we were in charge of the the Cookie Decorating Station.

Millie was such a great helper!

When School was out Millie and I braved the hallways and gathered everyone up..

Madison came out of her classroom with her hands FULL!

A box of chocolates and a rose from 2 different boys. Whoo hoo!

I had the table decorated and then took the kids to Piano lessons when we got Home Heath had placed a Valentines bag at each persons place setting.

What a Sweet Treat!

I'm a Lucky Mom, I have a family to cook for, Laugh with and LOVE!
Dinner was Divine if I do say myself.. Beef Tenderloin, Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Asapragus and Salad.

We finished the night off with a fun Game and some Yummy Doughnuts that dad brought Home!

It was a Perfect ending to a Great day!

This past week my Good Friend in Florida had surgery and I was Lucky Enough to go down and help take care of her and her kids.

The first night I got into town all my Middleburg Girls had planned a "Girls Night Out" we went for some Yummy Mexican food, ate a variety of cupcakes, caught up on everything, and had Plenty of Good Laughs! Oh how I MISS YOU ALL! Some day and it may be in Heaven we will all live close to each other again.. My Sundays are not the same without you!

Sunday morning I even got to go to church and see my favorite lil' Primary kids.

Shannon had "Fancy White Pants" for both of us to Relax in.

It was so nice to be with Shannon, tell secrets, laugh, cry, eat and just be together!

I loved getting to see Shannon's life. Waking up early to drive Ashley to the bus in the dark, getting 5 lil' monkeys up feed dressed and having them all want me to do hair. Jumping in the car and delivering them all to school. Having them come home and wanna cuddle up on my bed and talk or color with the markers. I already miss each one of them! Shannon You are One Amazing Mother and they are all so LUCKY to have you as Mom! I hope we can find another good reason for us to get together again soon! I MISS YOU!

I took the kids to the Beach.

We had so much fun taking pictures, having running races and collecting shells.

It felt so good to be back on the beach with my feet in the sand.

The day I was leaving I drove to my Good Friends Shena's work where we went and got a treat and talked by the water. I Loved being with her! Shena was my work out buddy in Florida.. oh how I could use her today! Someday we will live close enough to work out again! I Loved seeing Shena's darling kids and having them both jump into my arms! Miss you cute Ropper Kids.

The trip was Awesome! I loved being back on my old Florida stomping grounds. Although it was a lil' rough. I shopped in my grocery store, drove past my house, went to the kids schools, saw all the kids friends. It brought back many happy memories but also made me super homesick for the

Wonderful life we had in Florida!

I Missed Not having my own family with me as we played on the beach!

I was SO Excited to get back Home I couldn't get off the plane fast enough!
