Kade, What a Kid!

Kade's Neighborhood buddy, Deondrea is moving. He had told Kade they had to move because they couldn't pay the bills anymore. Kade came home from school so stressed and frustrated that they didn't have enough money and that he was loosing one of his friends. Deondrea was such a cute friend. These two would breakdance in the Garage, and did they ever have the moves! They also loved to play football and ride bikes or scooters. Only problem he didn't have a bike or scooter so Kade would always share his.It was late and we were coming home from the Store when we saw Deondrea and his family loading up the last items into the Uhaul. We stopped to say, "Goodbye" Deondrea began crying sooo Hard as he said "Goodbye." It left us all with a sick stomack and a lump in our throats. I quickly opened the back of the Suburban and pulled out the Doughnuts I had bought for Dessert and handed them to him, gave him a hug and shuffled the kids back into the car. By the time we pulled into the drive way I opened the Garage and Kade Jumped out and ran into the Garage and picked up his New Scooter he had just gotten and said, "Hurry Mom follow me in the car, I want to give this to Deondrea." So I put the car in reverse and followed him as he Quickly Scooted over to Deondreas house. Just as we got to his house the Uhaul drove away... Kade was breathing heavy and so crushed he had missed him. Just then the garage opened and out came Deondrea's family van. Kade ran over and inside sat Deondrea. Kade gave him the scooter. I was so Proud of him for being so willing to give away his scooter. What a night.. I will never forget watching him as he rode half way around the block as fast as he could to give away his scooter or the smile on his face as he gave it to his friend. What a Boy! I am so LUCKY to have this little boy!!
I Love you Kade! Thanks for being such a good EXAMPLE to ME.. to all of US!
(This photo is a older pic of Kade with my Friends little boy but I just Love the smile on his face!)

Living is having ups and downs and sharing

with your friends along the way!
