Happy Mothers Day!

WOW... what a day! I hope you have all had a wonderful day! Our day has been Fabulous! It started with going to church. I had the day off in Primary. So I was able to go with Heath to class while the Young women and men took over Primary. It felt like I was back in my dating days when I could snuggle up to in Heath's Massive Muscular arms and Enjoy the meetings. After church we ate a Yummy Steak dinner out side. We have had a tornado watch all day so we have had some crazy wind. After dinner we were all outside admiring the beautiful flowers and the kids were playing on the grass. I turned on the hose to water the flowers when something CrAzY came over me as Heath was cornered up against the front door with his back turned to me I sprayed him. We both began to laugh and I kept spraying. Heath wasn't sure if he wanted to keep laughing or get mad. the more mad Heath became.. the more we both laughed the more I sprayed. The next thing I knew Heath was charging at me. The watering the flowers turned into a family water fight. Ahh it was very refreshing after some hot weather. With everyone a little damp we decided to take a family walk to dry off. Just in time for the Jazz game and Yes were we ever Happy we WON! It could have been a Miserable Mothers day if they would have lost. Heath was already starting to get Ronchy at the end of the game as things were tight. Thanks Jazz for keeping my husband in Good Spirits! Woosh.. It was Close!

I would like to give a Happy Mothers Day shout out to my Amazing Mother! I have thought a lot about her today and all the Wonderful things she has done for me from through out my life. She has taught me many things but one thing that I must think of everyday is some advice she would tell us girls.... Love yourself just the way you are, because you look the better today than you will ever look again. Get up in the morning make yourself look Beautiful then walk out of the bathroom and focus on Others. What Wise Advice.! That is just what she did. She is the Queen of Selfless Service. I remember going with her as she would give foot rubs to the elderly people in the ward and even paint the old Lady's toe nails. She took us up to Salt Lake early on Sunday mornings to feed the Homeless. She had us going to handicapped homes or old folk homes. All of these things that would scare me to death and yet she took us so we could learn the Importance of Serving others. What a Lady! She is a Women of Love. She has been such a Great example of Loving my Dad. When ever it get close to 5:00 and Dad would come home from work and she would run in the bathroom put on a little lipstick and perfume and greeted him with a hug and kiss. She love us kids Unconditionally. I remember the special Breakfast she would make me each morning cause I couldn't handle breakfast. The early 5:00 basketball practice days when she drove me down to PHS. On days when we didn't see eye to eye I remember opening my school locker several times to find a love note from her. WOW! The days of school shopping were always my highlight. A day to shop with my Mom and lunch.
Then how about the year when I layed in bed sick and in pain with my back. My Mother was by my side day in and day out. With positive notes, music, flowers, movies, treats. She took care of me and my kid, cleaned my house, cooked meals washed and folded clothes, took me to Dr. apts. She was my Cheerleader through out all the yuck. She brought such a happy memories out of such a miserable time. She is a Dream Grandma! The kids are so LUCKY to have a Grandma who loves them like she does! And last but not least she Loved Heath from day One! She knows a GOOD Thing when she Sees One! Which takes me to my next Mother.
Mom Thompson. I have so Much to Thank her for. 1st and far most I need to say Thank her for Heath. A day doesn't go by that I don't want to call her to Thank her for the way she Taught Loved and Raised Heath to be the Man, Husband, Father and Friend that he is. I love the way she taught him to be so Positive, Love the Lord, Serve others, be Thoughtful, how to be such a hard worker, how to Cook some might tasty meals. You did an amazing Job! I hope I can raise Kade to be just like his Dad! I love you for your desire to do what is right. The way you lead and guide your family to do righteous things. I loved the days when we came over for Sunday dinners we could always count on a Gourmet Meal and some good talk in the living room after. I love the FHE that you always prepared for us. I love the way you support all of your kids in dance or sports. I love how I can call her when I have a sick child and she Always has some special remidy that is the cure all! I love how she nursed McKinnley back to health when she came to visit. I love your desire for food storage and for helping me become more prepared. I love the way you loved me and our children. Thank you for being the Wonderful Mother, Friend, and Grandma that you are to all of us!

Happy Mothers Day!

We are Certainly Blessed to have such Incredible Moms! We Love you! Hope you know how much we Love and Appreciate you Both!

Kelly, I can't sleep for thinking of all you on the blog. . . what a loon I am! I am finally up back at the lap top and now I am not only sleepless but I am sitting here crying alone, over all you kind words. Thank you. The real truth is the joy that children bring into your life as they teach you so much. I want to be a mom just like you when I grow up. Tonight I have been reading a book called Amish Grace. It tells the story of some Amish families forgiving a man who shot down their daughters while they were at school. I want to give it to Julie and talk with her and have her help me understand forgiveness better. The Thompson family is so amazing. Their love and forgiveness is the reason Heath is the man he is. And do I so love him! I love the picture with him holding Mille. . . oh that is about every other picture. He is a great Dad! you are the best Mom! I love a love a you all! xoxoxMom

Kelly,
Your tribute to your mother was so touching. I think you are an amazing mother and just know your children are going to grow up to be a parent just as amazing as you are. Your love for the Savior shine through everything you do and especially on all of your sweet children. Tell them all Sister Corey said, "Hello!"

First I read Kims mothers day blog and now I read yours. Is mom still paying you guys an allowance?

I am trying to figure out who you are writing about? Mom was never around when we were children. Don't you remember the time she burned me with her cigarette butt because I was not doing the dishes fast enough, or what about the time she tried to drop matt off the river bridge.

The world needs to know the truth!!!
