We started back to school on Monday.I Can't believe Summer is over and you will be back at school ALL DAY LONG.
Summer was NOT long enough... I'm not ready to share you with your Teachers!
Sunday night Heath gave the kids blessings, we packed our backpacks with the school supplies and picked out clothes. I had so much fun watching the kids pick out what to wear.
*Madison decided what she was going to wear with in seconds.
*Kade picked out a old t-shirt and was bummed
when I made him pick out one of his New School shirts.
*McKinnley picked our her shirt... then her shorts and had a hard time picking which shoes worked best. Thanks to Dad and his "Sence of Style" he helped make the final decision.

I will miss our Crazy Lazy Summer Days!
Monday night we had our "Back to School Bash." We decorated hats, (Millie was the only one I got a photo of.) We had a Special Dinner and talked about our Favorite Memory's of the Summer and Game Planned for the New School Year.
Little did we know that we would only go to school for 2 days until it was canclled DUE TO HURRICANE FAY HOORAY! We have had a blast sleeping in, playing in the rain, running to get DVDs to watch, Cookies n Cream shakes, and making homemade play dough. PARTY!

What a CUTE bunch of kids heading to school. They are so lucky to have each other to go with!! I loved going to school everyday with my little Sis. How lucky you get a couple more days of summer due to the hurricane. I can't believe I have been out of the loop with the Storms. Sounds like you all had a lot of fun during the storm! We did too. Nathan didn't go to work either, so getting to all be together for the last 3 days has been fantastic!
Marisa has that same shirt Madison has. It's so cool they still love the same stuff. They are all gorgeous. I sent Maya off to Kindergarten today. I took your advice and downed a diet coke to calm my nerves! I still cried.
I love that Kade picked out an old t-shirt! How boy is that! They all looked beautiful. Oh - and I can totally relate to the summer not being long enough - not wanting to share those cuties with the teachers...
Let's take comfort in the fact their brains are getting filled up with stuff that is making them so much smarter than we are :)
