Christmas Day...

Christmas Eve we wrapped friend, neighbors and our Sub for Santa gifts and went out to deliver. Then we stopped at one of our favorite places to eat Chinese. After we got home we had a family meeting where we read a Christmas story, talked, sang a few songs, danced and then opened up our Pj's. It was hard to go to sleep with such Excitement in the home!We went out back and threw Reindeer food on the lawn so Rudolph could eat a little while Santa Delivered the Gifts. The morning came way to Quick! The kids started yelling Did Santa come?...at 5:30! Millie was THRILLED!Kade and Uncle Micah played some serious B-ball games. Slam Dunk!Millie and Maizie are such good little Moms!We had a Yummy Ham dinner and were Lucky enough to have RW (a Agent that works with Heath) join us for the afternoon. Darn it I don't have a photo of him... but we have sure loved all the goodies he brought over. And of course Uncle Micah. It was a Beautiful Sunny day about 75 degrees. Heath set up Targets out back for us to shoot with the BB-Guns.

This is our Busy little Millie... She is talking on her phone, caring for her baby with her E-Ba Ba (sippy Cup) She couldn't have been any Happier!
Christmas night we went to The Winter Wonderland.... Uncle Micah and Kade rode sleds down a Ice Polar Plunge.
Then we went Ice Skating...Millie was so excited for her Dad to take her out skating and in the snow...
(Florida Snow fell from the Sky)Off they went!

It was a Wonderful One! We are so Lucky to be together to Celebrate such a Great Day!

The Highlights: Going shopping with the Kids to pick out gifts for Uncle Micah... They were so excited to get him gifts... then have him open them up... the coloring from Sweet Maizie and her wrapping job... The kids gifts that they bought wrapped and gave to each other.... (so cute)... watching Maizie and Millie Squeal over the babies... Watching Kade riding his rib stick out front... The darling play dough heart Madison made for Heath and I... The Dad pen and Basketball Magnet from McKinnley... Soap from Kade... Having Millie unwrap every gift in sight... Throwing Reindeer food... Having a family nap after Breakfast. Watching the kids I think they were bitten by "The Giving Bug" they were all smiles as they gave to others... I LOVED IT!

Life is Good!

You'll shoot your eye out! ;) Nice weather for Christmas, but I think I'll take our white Christmas and sledding ever 75 degrees any day. But I should take a little vacation there now that Christmas is over, 75 sounds pretty good.

You guys are so sweet. I didn't even know that the ice skating rink was open on Christmas! How fun. I love ice skating! Nathan doesn't like it too much though, so I don't get to go as often as I would like. Looks like you guys had a wonderful Christmas and a super happy New Year! I'm so glad you did!

How do you fit all that in - in one day? What a happy Christmas! The Ice Skating looked liked so much fun. Looked like Santa must love the Thompsons. THe picture of Millie with the baby and phone is so adorable. I do remember a little sister who looked the same years ago Christmas morning. I'm glad you had a good Christmas! We sure love you all!
