Sour Cream Orange Rolls...
1 Package active dry yeast (about 3 teaspoons)
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups of flour
6 Tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
Stir yeast in warm water. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup sour cream , eggs, 6 tablespoons melted butter, salt and 2 cups flour. Beat well. Gradually add enough flour to make it a soft dough. Knead until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased clean bowl cover until it doubles in size.
Knead dough to remove air and roll into balls and place on a greased pan. Allow 10-15 minutes for the rolls to rise. bake 350 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Glaze:
Combine in a sauce pan
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2 Tablespoons orange juice
Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir constantly for 3 minutes.
It will thicken after it begins to cool.
Pour over rolls.
Enjoy!

That almost tempts me into breakin out my kitchen aid! Really I just want you around the corner with a few extras for me! Love the play group, we have one Tues and Thurs. for Robby it's great.
You can just tell that your girls are in heaven playing with their friends. I can't believe you even brought out the paints. Another thing you are up on me. I just shimmy the kids down stairs and out of sight. Can't wait to make orange rolls tonight. Thanks! (Tell the truth have you made 10 more batches for the sick and afflicted in your ward this week?)
looks like a play group we would have loved to be apart of. the face painting is top notch moms skills is coming out on you. do you think when i come i could get a batch of those whipped up with a crown of my own?
I can't wait to try to make these rolls. They were so good. I know that Nathan is going to LOVE them. Playgroup at your house was awesome. Mandy was so sad when it was time to wash her face. She loved her kites :)
