Prayers Do Get Answered!

Football is in FULL Swing... and We Love it!

Kade's Class have a on going Rule that each Student has to get there planner signed from the Teacher. We carried the rule on at home if Kade wants to play Football he has to have it signed with everything Complete.

As I was cleaning the house I noticed Kade's Math workbook was sitting on the counter. Which meant Kade wouldn't get his book signed off as everything completed and handed in.

The (Stupid) Rule at the school is if a Child has forgot Homework, a book, anything... Parents can not bring it into the school. What is up with that Rule? They are in Elementary for Heaven Sakes!

So I stewed over what I should do because Grandma is going to be here and I wanted Kade to be able to play. So I waited till lunch time and drove around the school waiting for Kade to come out for recess... I couldn't find him. So I walked it into the school to only get the Raunchy Office lady to tell me, Put the book on the shelf and I will call him down at the end of the day to come get it. That wasn't going to do Kade any good. So I put it on the shelf and walked out. Thinking my Plan was a FLOP...

Kade came home from School busted through the door wrapped his arms around me and said, "Mom Thanks for Bringing my Math Book. I went into the Bathroom and said a Prayer that you would bring it."

A kid in his class saw me walk into the book and told Kade so Kade asked the teacher if he could go get it..
AND... Kade gets to Play Saturday!
Prayers DO GET ANSWERED!
Now I'm going to pray for Nice Football Weather!

I love this! By small means . . . Kade's testimony of prayer is strengthened and all of us can have renewed faith that Heavenly Father cares about us, even the "little" things like getting to play football!

What a cute family you have. I ran into your Mom, she may have told you that my girls are on the same soccer team as Katy. I think of you every time I see here. Seems like just yesterday that was us. You inspire me to catch up on my blog. Love your posts. Love Hillary

Kade, I am so proud of you for taking it to a matter of prayer. It ALWAYS works! You look so handsome and tough in your football duds. I happened to hear that you scored a touchdown in your game. Way to go!! It was all meant to be. I love you!

I love that prayers do get answered! Dear Kade!!! Both of you must have been living with soft hearts and listening ears that day. I think Max and Kade are so much alike. They both want to succeed in everything. Kade plays football with such determination. He is a treat to watch. He is so faithful with his home work. He taught me a thing or two or ten about the continents. I loved so much being in your home Kelly. I can't tell you what it meant to just be with your amazing family. I love them all so much. Is Maizie being brave? I sure hope so. I miss the alone time with Millie. What an absolute sweetheart. Her little legs were just a pumping a million miles an hour all week. I could have sat in your car all day with McKinnley and Madison, waiting for the buss. I was always surprised when they turned around and waved to their Grandma in front of all their friends. My makeup is so much better, after having my lesson. I know it is only October, but I can hardly wait till February when Maizie turns 8. Dad and I want to come. Happy Day Sweet Kelly I am crazy about you! Happy computer day for me!
