Weekend at the Beach...

Thursday night we got a phone call from our Good Friends the Horstman's
They called to see if we wanted to come spend the weekend a their Beach House in Michigan.
Friday morning we woke up packed our bags, skipped school, work and headed out of town.
We spent the first day with the Horstman's then had the house to ourselves.
First things First... We hit the Beach!
Kade caught a Fish, Bare Handed
Kade and Mickey

Even though the Water was COLD.. The kids swam in the water.

The house was FULL of FUN Activities!

We took a family bike ride to get Ice Cream

 Hours were spent playing Monopoly...

 Skipping Rocks was a favorite
Heath was the Rock Skipping Champ!

We are still dreaming about the yummy food we ate, the games, bike rides, rain storms, walks, late nights, sleeping in, rock collecting, house looking, treat eating, laughing, beach playing, Fun...
What a PERFECT way to spend the Weekend!

I'd like to see if I could get that hook up too. What a fun family weekend. Glad you missed school and work and hopefully some big church responsibilities too. I am so impressed with Kades fish catching skills. He would make it just fine on a deserted island. It all looked like a party from the games to the bike ride. Xoxo

The Thompson Family knows how to celebrate together. I like Kade and the fish the best. The double bike looked fun. The family pictures were my favorite. I can't wait until you buy your beach house and we can all come.Love you this morning!

That is how I picture the Thompson Troop- with sand between your toes. When Kai was 2 he caught a fish like that and bit its head off before we got too him. Ew! What a perfect hook up!
