Heath and I were Lucky enough to escape to Alaska for a week.
The Journey Started out Rough and had Several Bumps along the way but all in all we had a Wonderful time...
For starts we missed our flight... so frantically we ran from airline to airline trying to find a new flight... We found one but it wouldn't get us into Seattle until 4:30. The Cruise boat was leaving at 4:00. Heath was determined we would buy tickets and try our best. So the entire flight over we had a hard time even enjoying the flight, we didn't have much to say to each other we were so sick to our stomachs. The flight attendant got on the intercom and announced we would be arriving 45 minutes early to Seattle. We jumped off the plane and ran straight for a taxi, Without our luggage. We grabbed the first Taxi in sight. He was a cute older Polish man. He drove Fast and Crazy as if our Life depended on it. I think we were on two wheels several times. Heath's kind of driver! He told Heath, "I will drive, you watch for the police." Heath's arms may still have marks left from me squeezing him. Thanks to the dear man we made the boat. We were met at the taxi by several workers asking us all the Security questions... as we stepped on the boat the doors closed and off we sailed to Alaska!

This is like a movie, so exciting. But, you need to blog again, and SOON, about the rest of the trip. Where did you go, for fun or work, were you on a cruise the whole time, details woman, I must live vicariously through you. LOVE YOU! Great picture too.
And off they go by the seat of their pants. . . . so glad you made it. I remember one trip to Mexico when we got to the prison and dad had left his wallet home. We flew back, probably like your taxi drive. It was a snowy morning and my stomach was in my throat. Dad dropped me off at the airport and I ran and asked them please to wait. He came running down the hall, and we both couldn't stop sweating till we got to Mexico. Sometimes the most crazy trip are the ones we will remember. So glad you got to go. One on one time is so priceless. I love you Kelly Gwen Thompson.
