Thompson Family Coat Drive 2010
We passed out flyer's asking neighbors to donate Winter Gear. Then we went around and Collected them. The kids favorite part was riding in the back of the car.
It was so Awesome to see how Generous People were to help. We gathered Coats, Sweatshirts, Gloves, Snow Pants, Hats, and Boots.
Our car was Stuffed with Garbage sacks of Winter Goods.
What a wonderful thing it is to know we are helping people stay warm in this Crazy Cold Weather!
Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.

OK - count the Clarksons inspired! Now to figure out what we are going to do. (Winter coats, hats, boots and the like aren't really in great need round these here parts!!) Keep the ideas coming!
When I grow up I want to be like my little sister Kelly. You Thompson's ROCK!!! Thanksgiving dinner and now coats. You guys truly are the best! WE love you all!
How fun and such a memorable experience for you and your kiddos!! You always seem to inspire me! THANK YOU!!
Kelly, you have become the example to follow. I too want to be like you when I grow up! I have done one tiny service this week. I went to a rest home and helped with relief society. There were three little ladies, one with alzheimer's who never stopped talking and waving her hands. . . about what we never did find out. One couldn't talk but her eye shinned and smiled, and the best of all was Don who sang all the Christmas songs and talked and really got into everything. He was the best Relief Society sister going! Love ya! Keep Teaching Us
What a great Mom you are! You make the rest of us look bad! No really, it's so great to teach your kids that, and those are the memories they will hang on to, way to be inspiring! xoxo
Kelly...could you put me in contact with Heath? We're in Tallinn this weekend and many of our old friends asked about him. It made me wonder too! We had a lovely evening with Nina T., Irina A., Sveta R. and Galina K. They all send their love...
Kelly! Who thinks of these service projects!?!? You guys are so amazing! Its like I need to come look at your blog once a day to get good ideas on how to celebrate Christmas and THanksgiving and LIFE! You and your fam are great examples and are teaching those kids of yours some valuable lessons!
