Thanksgiving 2010

We started the morning off with a Turkey Bowl Football Game.
 The Thompson's vs. The Joss's
It was FREEZING! We finished off with Hot Chocolate and Cinnamon Rolls.
We Love you Joss Family!
After we played football we jumped in the car and went to deliver Thanksgiving Dinner through the Salvation Army to the Elderly. It was so fun to see them light up as we delivered meals to them, they were all so lonely. We will Never forget Constance, So stylish.. all dressed up for Thanksgiving and no one to eat with, talk to, or take care of her. Her Long toe nails, her house with concrete floors, and
how she didn't want us to leave.

When we got home we began cooking our own Thanksgiving Feast!
Heath put a Brine on our Turkey and it was OH SO YUMMY!
We were all Thankful to have each other to eat with and to be in our warm house.
We were all Smiles!
We colored on the table what we were Thankful For...
Kade was "Thankful" for a Healthy Body and Big Biceps!
 Heath was "Thankful" for me...
Madison was "Thankful" for Family, House and Sunny Days!
 Maizie was "Thankful" for Family
I am "Thankful for Heath and our Kiddos!
Millie was "Thankful for her Family, Friends, food and toys,
McKinnley was "Thankful" for Her Family, friends, clothes, food, church and Pumpkin pie!

We all have Much to be THANKFUL for!
Happy Thanksgiving!

I love that Kade is still rockin the Oakleaf hoodie! I was at the intersection of Argyle and Blanding and there were some Oakleaf players asking for donations cause they were headed to some championship game. Glad you guys had a great Thanksgiving. We sure do miss the Thompsons! I am way jealous of your cold weather!!!

That elderly lady must have been so happy to see your beautiful faces. It really is so sad to think of all those who spend these holiday's alone. Not just holiday's but everyday. You are so sweet and good to do such a great and compassionate service! Becky's fortune cookie today said...

Kelly, you always seem to teach us all about what is important. The cute little lady that you took dinner to will remember your family, probably 25 times a day. Kim invited Grandma to go to Grandparents day with her kids. It was the most thrilling thing that has happened to her. She keeps telling me all about it. She felt loved and important. That is what we all need. I loved your coat drive! Generous Amazing Memories for your children. I loved your thanksgiving table, name cards, and thankful pictures. What a
happy house. By the way are those glasses on Maizie for fun or for real? Have I missed out on the news? I am thankful for the Thompsons this Thanksgiving! I love each one of your wishbones!
