This is a Perfect Activity to beat the Winter Blues!
It kept Millie well entertained and we Loved the outcome!
Best part she did it all herself while I cleaned the kitchen.
We mixed different food coloring into different bowl and let Millie fill up tupperware and cupcake pans.
Once they were filled I cut some string and put it into the water but made sure the ends stuck out...
Then we put them out back on the patio to FREEZE..
Then WA LA we have these darling ice hearts
We tied them together and made a front porch Winter Garland!
Happy Winter!
We are suppose to be getting 25 inches of Snow today, tonight and tomorrow!
Looks like we are in for some FUN!

Holy Smokes! That is ALOT of snow! I just love your creativity:) Bundle up with your family and watch the beautiful snow fall.
Stay warm! Love your garland. We made something similar once and it melted and stained the concrete- so just watch out for that. We are thinking about you guys on this snowy day. LOVES!

You are so creative! That is so cute. If only it was cold enough here, we would do it too :) I hope you all stayed safe and cozied up together in all that snow! Hope I get to see you this weekend! Give me a call or text me and let me know what the plans are!
Call up Martha, right now! Kelly you are full of the magic of winter. That is the cutest porch I have ever seen. When we fight winter it just fights back. "To surrender to the rhythm of seasons and flowerings and dormancies is to savor the secret of life itself." Those two cute bodies help your porch out a bunch. Happy Snow.
Such a cute idea! Thought about you today when I heard of the coldness in Chicago. Hope you are keeping warm!!
Where do you come up with this stuff? So cute! And you're the best mom ever to let her help. I have a hard time with that whenever a mess is involved. Glad you survived the storm--think of the great stories you can tell your grandchildren!
That garland is the cutest thing! What a fun idea!!
