This past week my Good Friend in Florida had surgery and I was Lucky Enough to go down and help take care of her and her kids.
The first night I got into town all my Middleburg Girls had planned a "Girls Night Out" we went for some Yummy Mexican food, ate a variety of cupcakes, caught up on everything, and had Plenty of Good Laughs! Oh how I MISS YOU ALL! Some day and it may be in Heaven we will all live close to each other again.. My Sundays are not the same without you!
Sunday morning I even got to go to church and see my favorite lil' Primary kids.
Shannon had "Fancy White Pants" for both of us to Relax in.
It was so nice to be with Shannon, tell secrets, laugh, cry, eat and just be together!
I loved getting to see Shannon's life. Waking up early to drive Ashley to the bus in the dark, getting 5 lil' monkeys up feed dressed and having them all want me to do hair. Jumping in the car and delivering them all to school. Having them come home and wanna cuddle up on my bed and talk or color with the markers. I already miss each one of them! Shannon You are One Amazing Mother and they are all so LUCKY to have you as Mom! I hope we can find another good reason for us to get together again soon! I MISS YOU!
I took the kids to the Beach.
We had so much fun taking pictures, having running races and collecting shells.
It felt so good to be back on the beach with my feet in the sand.
The day I was leaving I drove to my Good Friends Shena's work where we went and got a treat and talked by the water. I Loved being with her! Shena was my work out buddy in Florida.. oh how I could use her today! Someday we will live close enough to work out again! I Loved seeing Shena's darling kids and having them both jump into my arms! Miss you cute Ropper Kids.
The trip was Awesome! I loved being back on my old Florida stomping grounds. Although it was a lil' rough. I shopped in my grocery store, drove past my house, went to the kids schools, saw all the kids friends. It brought back many happy memories but also made me super homesick for the
Wonderful life we had in Florida!
I Missed Not having my own family with me as we played on the beach!
I was SO Excited to get back Home I couldn't get off the plane fast enough!

We're glad you were able to squeeze us in. What a blast. Maybe in the spring, we should all come take care of you in Chicago? Or do a GNO in your neck of the woods. :) Glad you made it home safely.
I am so not a fan of GNO.... Maybe we could call it LNO for Ladies Night Out?? I'll explain one day.... Anyway - it was so fun seeing you and catching up. I agree with Casey, we should come to Chicago in the spring and you can show us around!!
I loved seeing you. Oh we all missed you and your sweet family so much. I am glad you got to come and how wonderful is Heath for sharing you. Your a wonderful friend and a excellent lady to admire for all you do. I am down with LNO in Chicago. We can get Cassie to find one of her amazing deals like New York and we will be there. We miss you already! Glad you got home safe and happy. Now go talk Heath into one day bringing cute family back to Florida!

Kelly, you just invested your time and money in the things that are most important. I am sure those children's lives will be different because of you. Pretty much your friends lives are different because of this one "Kelly" in their lives. I feel sure in heaven we will be able to wink and be with those we love. Wish I could wink myself on your bed with all those cute bare feet you had in your blog awhile ago. I am proud of you Kelly.
So glad you got to go. The Florida sunshine looks so nice. I bet those kids were entertained from morning to night. WHat a great friend you are! I will have to call you and get all the details. Love you!
